3 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities,^(A) to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good,^(B)

3 你要提醒眾人，叫他們順服作官的、掌權的，遵他的命，預備行各樣的善事。

3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

²to slander no one,^(A) to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

²不要毀謗，不要爭競，總要和平，向眾人大顯溫柔。

²To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
