Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Ang Awit sa Pagdayeg
149 Dayega ang Ginoo!
Pag-awit kamo ug bag-ong awit sa Ginoo.
Dayega siya diha sa panagtigom sa iyang matinumanong katawhan.
2 Paglipay kamong mga taga-Israel tungod sa inyong Magbubuhat.
Pagsadya kamong mga katawhan sa Zion[a] tungod sa inyong Hari.
3 Dayega siya pinaagi sa pagsayaw;
ug pagtukar ug tamborin ug mga harpa sa pagdayeg kaniya.
4 Kay nagakalipay ang Ginoo sa iyang katawhan;
gipasidunggan niya ang mga mapainubsanon pinaagi sa pagpadaog kanila.
5 Maglipay ang katawhan nga matinumanon sa Dios tungod sa ilang pagdaog;
mag-awit sila sa kalipay bisan sa ilang mga higdaanan.
6 Pasinggita sila sa pagdayeg sa Dios samtang nagakupot sila sa hait nga mga espada,
7 sa pagpanimalos ug pagsilot sa mga katawhan sa mga nasod,
8 sa pagkadena sa ilang mga hari ug mga pangulo,
9 sa pagsilot kanila sumala sa gisugo sa Dios.
Kini kadungganan alang sa tanang matinumanong katawhan sa Dios.
Dayega ang Ginoo!

2 Let Israel rejoice(D) in their Maker;(E)
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.(F)
3 Let them praise his name with dancing(G)
and make music to him with timbrel and harp.(H)
4 For the Lord takes delight(I) in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory.(J)
5 Let his faithful people rejoice(K) in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.(L)
6 May the praise of God be in their mouths(M)
and a double-edged(N) sword in their hands,(O)
7 to inflict vengeance(P) on the nations
and punishment(Q) on the peoples,
8 to bind their kings with fetters,(R)
their nobles with shackles of iron,(S)
9 to carry out the sentence written against them—(T)
this is the glory of all his faithful people.(U)
Praise the Lord.
