Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Pag-ampo Batok sa mga Kaaway sa Israel
129 Mga taga-Israel, isulti ninyo kini: Gipaantos gayod kami sa hilabihan sa among mga kaaway sukad pa sa pagkatukod sa among nasod.
2 “Gipaantos gayod nila kami sa hilabihan sukad pa sa pagkatukod sa among nasod.
Apan wala gayod nila kami mapildi.
3 Gisamaran nilag lawom ang among likod;
mora kinig uma nga gidaro.
4 Apan matarong ang Ginoo, kay giluwas niya kami gikan sa pagpangulipon sa mga daotan.”
5 Hinaut nga magpahilayo ang tanang nagdumot sa Zion[a] tungod sa kaulaw.
6 Hinaut nga mahisama sila sa mga sagbot nga nanubo sa atop sa balay, nga sa pagturok pa lang nalaya na dayon.
7 Walay magpakabana sa pagtigom niini nga sagbot o modala niini nga binugkos.
8 Hinaut pa nga ang mga tawong moagi dili moingon kanila,
“Hinaut pa nga panalanginan kamo sa Ginoo!
Gipanalanginan namo kamo sa ngalan sa Ginoo.”

Psalm 129
A song of ascents.
1 “They have greatly oppressed(A) me from my youth,”(B)
let Israel say;(C)
2 “they have greatly oppressed me from my youth,
but they have not gained the victory(D) over me.
3 Plowmen have plowed my back
and made their furrows long.
4 But the Lord is righteous;(E)
he has cut me free(F) from the cords of the wicked.”(G)
5 May all who hate Zion(H)
be turned back in shame.(I)
6 May they be like grass on the roof,(J)
which withers(K) before it can grow;
7 a reaper cannot fill his hands with it,(L)
nor one who gathers fill his arms.
8 May those who pass by not say to them,
“The blessing of the Lord be on you;
we bless you(M) in the name of the Lord.”
