8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation^(A) for those who are in Christ Jesus,^(B)

³² He who did not spare his own Son,^(A) but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? ³³ Who will bring any charge^(B) against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. ³⁴ Who then is the one who condemns?^(C) No one. Christ Jesus who died^(D)—more than that, who was raised to life^(E)—is at the right hand of God^(F) and is also interceding for us.^{(G) 35} Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?^(H) Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?^{(I) 36} As it is written:

³⁷ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors^(K) through him who loved us.^{(L) 38} For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,^[b] neither the present nor the future,^(M) nor any powers,^{(N) 39} neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God^(O) that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.^(P)

¹² Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed^(A) in his name,^(B) he gave the right to become children of God^(C)—

¹⁶ For God so loved^(A) the world that he gave^(B) his one and only Son,^(C) that whoever believes^(D) in him shall not perish but have eternal life.^{(E) 17} For God did not send his Son into the world^(F) to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.^{(G) 18} Whoever believes in him is not condemned,^(H) but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.^(I)

³⁶ Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,^(A) but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

²⁷ My sheep listen to my voice; I know them,^(A) and they follow me.^{(B) 28} I give them eternal life,^(C) and they shall never perish;^(D) no one will snatch them out of my hand.^(E)
