^20 [a](A)The Law came in so that the offense would increase; but where sin increased, ^(B)grace abounded all the more, ²¹ so that, as ^(C)sin reigned in death, so also ^(D)grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

6 ^(E)What shall we say then? Are we to ^(F)continue in sin so that grace may increase? ^2 [b](G)Far from it! How shall we who ^(H)died to sin still live in it? ³ Or do you not know that all of us who have been ^(I)baptized into ^(J)Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
