Romans 7:20-22

²⁰But if what *I* do not will, this I practise, [it is] no longer *I* [that] do it, but the sin that dwells in me.

²¹I find then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is there.

²²For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man:

²⁰Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.^(A)

²¹So I find this law at work:^(B) Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. ²²For in my inner being^(C) I delight in God’s law;^(D)
