Romans 2:27-29

27 Then the physically uncircumcised person who keeps the law will judge you who, though having the written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law. 28 For a person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision something external and physical.(A) 29 Rather, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not the written code. Such a person receives praise not from humans but from God.(B)

27 The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you(A) who, even though you have the[a] written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
28 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly,(B) nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.(C) 29 No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart,(D) by the Spirit,(E) not by the written code.(F) Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.(G)
