⁸ For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews^[a](A) on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises^(B) made to the patriarchs might be confirmed

¹⁹ For the Son of God,^(A) Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas^[a](B) and Timothy^(C)—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always^(D) been “Yes.” ²⁰ For no matter how many promises^(E) God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen”^(F) is spoken by us to the glory of God.^(G)
