²³ for all ^[a](A)have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

⁸ But God ^(A)demonstrates ^(B)His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, ^(C)Christ died for us.

²³ For the wages of ^(A)sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is ^(B)eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁸ But what does it say? “^(A)The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, ^9 [a]that ^(B)if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and ^(C)believe in your heart that ^(D)God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
