Revelation 7:14-16

¹⁴I ^[a]said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the ^(A)great tribulation, and they have ^(B)washed their robes and made them ^(C)white in the ^(D)blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵For this reason they are ^(E)before the throne of God, and they ^(F)serve Him day and night in His ^[b]^(G)temple; and ^(H)He who sits on the throne will spread His ^(I)tabernacle over them. ¹⁶^(J)They will no longer hunger nor thirst, nor will the sun ^[c]beat down on them, nor any scorching heat;

¹⁴I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes^(A) and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.^(B) ¹⁵Therefore,

“they are before the throne of God^(C)
    and serve him^(D) day and night in his temple;^(E)
and he who sits on the throne^(F)
    will shelter them with his presence.^(G)
¹⁶‘Never again will they hunger;
    never again will they thirst.^(H)
The sun will not beat down on them,’^[a]
    nor any scorching heat.^(I)
