The Third Seal—Famine

⁵ When He broke the third seal, I heard the ^(C)third living creature saying, “Come^[a].” I looked, and behold, a ^(D)black horse; and he who sat on it had a ^(E)pair of scales in his hand. ⁶ And I heard something like a voice in the center of the ^(F)four living creatures saying, “A ^[b]quart of wheat for a ^[c]denarius, and three ^[d]quarts of barley for a ^[e]denarius; and ^(G)do not damage the oil and the wine.”
