3 I heard a loud voice coming from heaven. It said, “See! God’s home is with men. He will live with them. They will be His people. God Himself will be with them. He will be their God. 4 God will take away all their tears. There will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All the old things have passed away.” 5 Then the One sitting on the throne said, “See! I am making all things new. Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.(A) They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.(B) 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.(C) There will be no more death’[a](D) or mourning or crying or pain,(E) for the old order of things has passed away.”(F)
5 He who was seated on the throne(G) said, “I am making everything new!”(H) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”(I)
