Greeting the Seven Churches

Grace to you and peace from Him (C)who is and (D)who was and who is to come, (E)and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, (F)the faithful (G)witness, the (H)firstborn from the dead, and (I)the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him (J)who [a]loved us (K)and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has (L)made us [b]kings and priests to His God and Father, (M)to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He is coming with (N)clouds, and every eye will see Him, even (O)they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

(P)“I am the Alpha and the Omega, [c]the Beginning and the End,” says the [d]Lord, (Q)“who is and who was and who is to come, the (R)Almighty.”

Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand (A)of Him who sat on the throne.

Worthy Is the Lamb

Now when He had taken the scroll, (B)the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the (C)prayers of the saints. And (D)they sang a new song, saying:

And (F)have redeemed us to God (G)by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

13 And (J)every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

(K)“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him (L)who sits on the throne,
