Psalm 9:5-9

New International Version

⁵ You have rebuked the nations^(A) and destroyed the wicked;
    you have blotted out their name^(B) for ever and ever.
⁶ Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
    you have uprooted their cities;^(C)
    even the memory of them^(D) has perished.

⁷ The Lord reigns forever;^(E)
    he has established his throne^(F) for judgment.
⁸ He rules the world in righteousness^(G)
    and judges the peoples with equity.^(H)
9 The Lord is a refuge^(I) for the oppressed,^(J)
    a stronghold in times of trouble.^(K)
