He parted the heavens and came down;(A)

11 He made darkness his covering,(F) his canopy(G) around him—
    the dark rain clouds of the sky.
12 Out of the brightness of his presence(H) clouds advanced,
    with hailstones(I) and bolts of lightning.(J)
13 The Lord thundered(K) from heaven;
    the voice of the Most High resounded.[a]
14 He shot his arrows(L) and scattered the enemy,
