¹⁵ He ^(A)split the rocks in the wilderness
And gave them plenty to drink like the ocean depths.
¹⁶ He ^(B)brought forth streams from the rock
And made waters run down like rivers.

¹⁸ I will open ^(A)rivers on the bare heights,
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make ^(B)the wilderness a pool of water,
And the dry land fountains of water.

¹³ Lord, the ^(A)hope of Israel,
All who ^(B)abandon You will be put to shame.
Those who turn ^[a]away on earth will be ^(C)written down,
Because they have forsaken the fountain of living water, that is the Lord.
