² Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

⁵ Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow.

²³ For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

⁷ Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.
