The Lord will extend your mighty scepter(A) from Zion,(B) saying,
    “Rule(C) in the midst of your enemies!”
Your troops will be willing
    on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,(D)
    your young men will come to you
    like dew from the morning’s womb.[a](E)

The Lord has sworn
    and will not change his mind:(F)
“You are a priest forever,(G)
    in the order of Melchizedek.(H)

The Lord is at your right hand[b];(I)
    he will crush kings(J) on the day of his wrath.(K)
He will judge the nations,(L) heaping up the dead(M)
    and crushing the rulers(N) of the whole earth.
