Psalm 91
King James Version
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

91 El que habita al abrigo del Altísimo
morará bajo la sombra del Omnipotente.
2 Diré yo a Jehová: «Esperanza mía y castillo mío;
mi Dios, en quien confiaré.»
3 Él te librará del lazo del cazador,
de la peste destructora.
4 Con sus plumas te cubrirá
y debajo de sus alas estarás seguro;
escudo y protección es su verdad.
5 No temerás al terror nocturno
ni a la saeta que vuele de día,
6 ni a la pestilencia que ande en la oscuridad,
ni a mortandad que en medio del día destruya.
7 Caerán a tu lado mil
y diez mil a tu diestra;
mas a ti no llegarán.
8 Ciertamente con tus ojos mirarás
y verás la recompensa de los impíos.
9 Porque has puesto a Jehová, que es mi esperanza,
al Altísimo por tu habitación,
10 no te sobrevendrá mal
ni plaga tocará tu morada,
11 pues a sus ángeles mandará acerca de ti,
que te guarden en todos tus caminos.
12 En las manos te llevarán
para que tu pie no tropiece en piedra.
13 Sobre el león y la víbora pisarás;
herirás al cachorro del león y al dragón.
14 «Por cuanto en mí ha puesto su amor, yo también lo libraré;
lo pondré en alto, por cuanto ha conocido mi nombre.
15 Me invocará y yo le responderé;
con él estaré yo en la angustia;
lo libraré y lo glorificaré.
16 Lo saciaré de larga vida
y le mostraré mi salvación.»

91 Chi dimora nel riparo dell'Altissimo, riposa all'ombra dell'Onnipotente.
2 dico all'Eterno: «Tu sei il mio rifugio e la mia fortezza, il mio DIO, in cui confido».
3 Certo egli ti libererà dal laccio dell'uccellatore e dalla peste mortifera.
4 Egli ti coprirà con le sue penne e sotto le sue ali troverai rifugio; la sua fedeltà ti sarà scudo e corazza.
5 Tu non temerai lo spavento notturno, né la freccia che vola di giorno,
6 né la peste che vaga nelle tenebre, né lo sterminio che imperversa a mezzodí.
7 Mille cadranno al tuo fianco e diecimila alla tua destra, ma a te non si accosterà.
8 Basta che tu osservi con gli occhi; e vedrai la retribuzione degli empi.
9 Poiché tu hai detto: «O Eterno, tu sei il mio rifugio», e hai fatto dell'Altissimo il tuo riparo,
10 non ti accadrà alcun male, né piaga alcuna si accosterà alla tua tenda.
11 Poiché egli comanderà ai suoi Angeli di custodirti in tutte le tue vie.
12 Essi ti porteranno nelle loro mani, perché il tuo piede non inciampi in alcuna pietra.
13 Tu camminerai sul leone e sull'aspide, calpesterai il leoncello e il dragone.
14 Poiché egli ha riposto in me il suo amore io lo libererò e lo leverò in alto al sicuro perché conosce il mio nome.
15 Egli mi invocherà e io gli risponderò; sarò con lui nell'avversità; lo libererò e lo glorificherò.
16 Lo sazierò di lunga vita e gli farò vedere la mia salvezza.

2 Je dis à l'Éternel: Mon refuge et ma forteresse, Mon Dieu en qui je me confie!
3 Car c'est lui qui te délivre du filet de l'oiseleur, De la peste et de ses ravages.
4 Il te couvrira de ses plumes, Et tu trouveras un refuge sous ses ailes; Sa fidélité est un bouclier et une cuirasse.
5 Tu ne craindras ni les terreurs de la nuit, Ni la flèche qui vole de jour,
6 Ni la peste qui marche dans les ténèbres, Ni la contagion qui frappe en plein midi.
7 Que mille tombent à ton côté, Et dix mille à ta droite, Tu ne seras pas atteint;
8 De tes yeux seulement tu regarderas, Et tu verras la rétribution des méchants.

Unter Gottes Schutz
91 Wer unter dem Schutz des Höchsten wohnt,
der kann bei ihm, dem Allmächtigen, Ruhe finden.
2 Auch ich sage zum Herrn:
»Du schenkst mir Zuflucht wie eine sichere Burg!
Mein Gott, dir gehört mein ganzes Vertrauen!«
3 Er bewahrt dich vor versteckten Gefahren
und hält jede tödliche Krankheit von dir fern.
4 Wie ein Vogel seine Flügel über die Jungen ausbreitet,
so wird er auch dich stets behüten und dir nahe sein.
Seine Treue umgibt dich wie ein starker Schild.
5 Du brauchst keine Angst zu haben vor den Gefahren der Nacht
oder den heimtückischen Angriffen bei Tag.
6 Selbst wenn die Pest im Dunkeln zuschlägt
und am hellen Tag das Fieber wütet,
musst du dich doch nicht fürchten.
7 Wenn tausend neben dir tot umfallen,
ja, wenn zehntausend um dich herum sterben –
dich selbst trifft es nicht!
8 Mit eigenen Augen wirst du sehen,
wie Gott es denen heimzahlt, die ihn missachten.
9 Du aber darfst sagen: »Beim Herrn bin ich geborgen!«
Ja, bei Gott, dem Höchsten, hast du Heimat gefunden.
10 Darum wird dir nichts Böses zustoßen,
kein Unglück wird dein Haus erreichen.
11 Denn Gott wird dir seine Engel schicken,
um dich zu beschützen, wohin du auch gehst.
12 Sie werden dich auf Händen tragen,
und du wirst dich nicht einmal an einem Stein stoßen!
13 Löwen werden dir nichts anhaben,
auf Schlangen trittst du ohne Gefahr.
14 Gott sagt: »Er liebt mich von ganzem Herzen,
darum will ich ihn retten.
Ich werde ihn schützen, weil er mich kennt und ehrt.
15 Wenn er zu mir ruft, erhöre ich ihn.
Wenn er keinen Ausweg mehr weiß, bin ich bei ihm.
Ich will ihn befreien und zu Ehren bringen.
16 Ich lasse ihn meine Rettung erfahren
und gebe ihm ein langes und erfülltes Leben!«
