Psalm 78:37-39
New American Standard Bible
37 For their heart was not (A)steadfast toward Him,
Nor were they faithful with His covenant.
38 But He, being (B)compassionate, [a](C)forgave their wrongdoing and did not destroy them;
And often He [b](D)restrained His anger
And did not stir up all His wrath.
39 So (E)He remembered that they were only (F)flesh,
A [c](G)wind that passes and does not return.
