¹⁶ Yours is the day, yours also the night;
    you established the luminaries^[a] and the sun.^(A)

¹⁷ You have fixed all the bounds of the earth;
    you made summer and winter.^(A)

³⁶ If this fixed order were ever to cease
    from my presence, says the Lord,
then also the offspring of Israel would cease
    to be a nation before me forever.^(A)
