Psalm 51:5-9

New International Version

⁵ Surely I was sinful^(A) at birth,^(B)
    sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
⁶ Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
    you taught me wisdom^(C) in that secret place.^(D)

⁷ Cleanse^(E) me with hyssop,^(F) and I will be clean;
    wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.^(G)
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;^(H)
    let the bones^(I) you have crushed rejoice.
⁹ Hide your face from my sins^(J)
    and blot out^(K) all my iniquity.
