You have ^[c](C)relieved me in my distress;
Be ^(D)gracious to me and ^(E)hear my prayer.

² Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am ^(A)frail;
^(B)Heal me, Lord, for ^(C)my bones are horrified.

¹³ One who ^(A)conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper,
But one who ^(B)confesses and abandons them will find compassion.

^50 (A)And His mercy is to generation ^[a]after generation
Toward those who fear Him.
^51 (B)He has done ^[b]mighty deeds with His arm;
He has scattered those who were proud in the ^[c]thoughts of their hearts.
⁵² He has brought down rulers from their thrones,
And has ^(C)exalted those who were humble.
^53 (D)He has filled the hungry with good things,
And sent the rich away empty-handed.
⁵⁴ He has given help to His servant Israel,
^[d]In remembrance of His mercy,
^55 (E)Just as He spoke to our fathers,
^(F)To Abraham and his ^[e]descendants forever.”
