9 that he should live on forever
and (A)never see the pit.
10 For he sees (B)that even the wise die;
(C)the fool and the stupid alike must perish
and (D)leave their wealth to others.
11 Their (E)graves are their homes forever,[a]
their dwelling places (F)to all generations,
though they (G)called lands by their own names.

that the foolish and the senseless(D) also perish,

11 Their tombs(G) will remain their houses[a] forever,
their dwellings for endless generations,(H)
