9 He makes wars cease throughout the earth.
He shatters bows and cuts spears to pieces;
He burns up the chariots.[a](A)
10 “Stop your fighting—and know that I am God,
exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.”(B)
11 Yahweh of Hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our stronghold.(C)Selah

    to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow(B) and shatters the spear;
    he burns the shields[a] with fire.(C)
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;(D)
    I will be exalted(E) among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob(F) is our fortress.(G)
