9 (A)He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
    he (B)breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
    (C)he burns the chariots with fire.
10 (D)“Be still, and know that I am God.
    (E)I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth!”
11 (F)The Lord of hosts is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

He breaks the bow(B) and shatters the spear;
    he burns the shields[a] with fire.(C)
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;(D)
    I will be exalted(E) among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob(F) is our fortress.(G)
