New International Version

22 those the Lord blesses will inherit the land,
    but those he curses(A) will be destroyed.(B)

23 The Lord makes firm the steps(C)
    of the one who delights(D) in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,(E)
    for the Lord upholds(F) him with his hand.

25 I was young and now I am old,
    yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken(G)
    or their children begging(H) bread.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
