3 O Lord, (A)You brought my soul up from the grave;
You have kept me alive, [a]that I should not go down to the pit.

4 (B)Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His,
And give thanks at the remembrance of [b]His holy name.
5 For (C)His anger is but for a moment,
(D)His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But [c]joy comes in the morning.

3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;(A)
    you spared me from going down to the pit.(B)

4 Sing(C) the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;(D)
    praise his holy name.(E)
5 For his anger(F) lasts only a moment,(G)
    but his favor lasts a lifetime;(H)
weeping(I) may stay for the night,
    but rejoicing comes in the morning.(J)
