The Cure for Anxiety

²⁵ “^(A)For this reason I say to you, ^[a]do not be ^(B)worried about your ^[b]life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?

³¹ Do not ^(A)worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ ³² For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for ^(B)your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. ³³ But ^[a]seek first ^[b]His kingdom and His righteousness, and ^(C)all these things will be ^[c]provided to you.

^20 (A)always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our ^(B)God and Father;

¹² giving thanks to ^(A)the Father, who has qualified us ^[a]to share in ^(B)the inheritance of the ^[b]saints in ^(C)light.

^17 (A)Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

^16 (A)Rejoice always, ^17 (B)pray without ceasing, ¹⁸ in everything ^(C)give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
