Psalm 118:4-8

New International Version

⁴ Let those who fear the Lord^(A) say:
    “His love endures forever.”

⁵ When hard pressed,^(B) I cried to the Lord;
    he brought me into a spacious place.^(C)
6 The Lord is with me;^(D) I will not be afraid.
    What can mere mortals do to me?^(E)
7 The Lord is with me; he is my helper.^(F)
    I look in triumph on my enemies.^(G)

⁸ It is better to take refuge in the Lord^(H)
    than to trust in humans.^(I)
