Let those who fear the Lord(A) say:
    “His love endures forever.”

When hard pressed,(B) I cried to the Lord;
    he brought me into a spacious place.(C)
The Lord is with me;(D) I will not be afraid.
    What can mere mortals do to me?(E)
The Lord is with me; he is my helper.(F)
    I look in triumph on my enemies.(G)

It is better to take refuge in the Lord(H)
    than to trust in humans.(I)
