10 Then He (E)confirmed it to Jacob as a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, “(F)To you I will give the land of Canaan

12 When they were only a (H)few people in number,
Very few, and (I)strangers in it.
13 And they wandered from nation to nation,
From one kingdom to another people,
14 He (J)allowed no one to oppress them,
And He [b](K)rebuked kings for their sakes, saying,
15 (L)Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do not harm My prophets.”
