Psalm 15-16
New International Version
Psalm 15
A psalm of David.
2 The one whose walk is blameless,(D)
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth(E) from their heart;
3 whose tongue utters no slander,(F)
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others;
4 who despises a vile person
but honors(G) those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath(H) even when it hurts,
and does not change their mind;
5 who lends money to the poor without interest;(I)
who does not accept a bribe(J) against the innocent.
Whoever does these things
will never be shaken.(K)
Psalm 16
A miktam[a] of David.
2 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;(N)
apart from you I have no good thing.”(O)
3 I say of the holy people(P) who are in the land,(Q)
“They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods(R) will suffer(S) more and more.
I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
or take up their names(T) on my lips.
5 Lord, you alone are my portion(U) and my cup;(V)
you make my lot(W) secure.
6 The boundary lines(X) have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.(Y)
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;(Z)
even at night(AA) my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand,(AB) I will not be shaken.(AC)
9 Therefore my heart is glad(AD) and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,(AE)
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,(AF)
nor will you let your faithful[b] one(AG) see decay.(AH)
11 You make known to me the path of life;(AI)
you will fill me with joy in your presence,(AJ)
with eternal pleasures(AK) at your right hand.(AL)

Psalm 15-16
King James Version
15 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
16 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5 The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things (G)shall never be moved.
The Hope of the Faithful, and the Messiah’s Victory
A (H)Michtam of David.
16 Preserve[c] me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
(I)My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
3 As for the saints who are on the earth,
“They are the excellent ones, in (J)whom is all my delight.”
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god;
Their drink offerings of (K)blood I will not offer,
(L)Nor take up their names on my lips.
5 O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You [d]maintain my lot.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance.
7 I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel;
My [e]heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
8 (M)I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will [f]rest in hope.
10 (N)For You will not leave my soul in [g]Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to [h]see corruption.
11 You will show me the (O)path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
