⁸ For a ^(A)cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams;
It is ^[a](B)well mixed, and He pours out of this;
Certainly all the wicked of the earth must drain and ^(C)drink its dregs.

⁶⁵ Then the Lord ^(A)awoke as if from sleep,
Like a ^(B)warrior ^[a]overcome by wine.

¹⁵ And ^(A)wine, which makes a human heart cheerful,
^(B)So that he makes his face gleam with oil,
And ^[a]food, which ^(C)sustains a human heart.
