¹ In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;^(B)
    let me never be put to shame.^(C)
2 In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me;
    turn your ear^(D) to me and save me.
³ Be my rock of refuge,
    to which I can always go;
give the command to save me,
    for you are my rock and my fortress.^(E)

    come quickly to my rescue;^(B)
be my rock of refuge,^(C)
    a strong fortress to save me.
³ Since you are my rock and my fortress,^(D)
    for the sake of your name^(E) lead and guide me.

¹ Whoever dwells in the shelter^(A) of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow^(B) of the Almighty.^[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge^(C) and my fortress,^(D)
    my God, in whom I trust.”
