11 I know every bird(A) in the mountains,
    and the insects in the fields(B) are mine.
12 If I were hungry I would not tell you,
    for the world(C) is mine, and all that is in it.(D)
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls
    or drink the blood of goats?

14 “Sacrifice thank offerings(E) to God,
    fulfill your vows(F) to the Most High,(G)
15 and call(H) on me in the day of trouble;(I)
    I will deliver(J) you, and you will honor(K) me.”

16 But to the wicked person, God says:

“What right have you to recite my laws
    or take my covenant(L) on your lips?(M)
17 You hate(N) my instruction
    and cast my words behind(O) you.
18 When you see a thief, you join(P) with him;
    you throw in your lot with adulterers.(Q)

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.

18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
