⁸‘Arise, Lord,^(A) and come to your resting place,
you and the ark of your might.

²Thus says the Lord:
“The people who survived the sword
found grace in the wilderness;
^(A)when Israel sought for rest,

²This is what the Lord says:

“The people who survive the sword
will find favor^(A) in the wilderness;
I will come to give rest^(B) to Israel.”
