Proverbs 5:15-19

Common English Bible

¹⁵ Drink water from your own cistern,
    gushing water from your own well.
¹⁶ Should your fountains flood outside,
    streams of water in the public squares?
¹⁷ They are yours alone,
    not for you as well as strangers.
¹⁸     May your spring be blessed.
Rejoice in the wife of your youth.
¹⁹     She is a lovely deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts intoxicate you all the time;
    always be drunk on her love.
