¹⁰¶ The bloodthirsty hate the perfect, but the just seek his soul.

¹¹¶ The fool gives full rein to his spirit, but the wise man in the end will bring it into rest.

¹²¶ Of the ruler who hearkens unto the lying word, all his ministers are evil.

New International Version

¹⁰The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity
and seek to kill the upright.^(A)

¹¹Fools give full vent to their rage,^(B)
but the wise bring calm in the end.^(C)

¹²If a ruler^(D) listens to lies,
all his officials become wicked.^(E)
