Proverbs 13:2-4
International Standard Version
2 From the fruit of his words a man receives benefit,[a]
but the treacherous crave violence.
3 Anyone who guards his words protects his life;
anyone who talks too much[b] is ruined.
4 The lazy person craves, yet receives nothing,
but the desires of the diligent are satisfied.

2 From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things,(A)
but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence.

but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.(D)
