Proverbs 12:26-28

26 A righteous person guides his neighbor,[a]
but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
27 A lazy person does not roast his game,
but a diligent person uses his wealth wisely.
28 In the path of righteousness there is life,
and there is no death in following this path.[b]

26 The righteous choose their friends carefully,
but the way of the wicked leads them astray.(A)
27 The lazy do not roast[a] any game,
but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.
28 In the way of righteousness there is life;(B)
along that path is immortality.
