29 Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind,
    and the fool will be servant to the wise.(A)

30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,(B)
    and the one who is wise saves lives.

31 If the righteous receive their due(C) on earth,
    how much more the ungodly and the sinner!

12 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
    but whoever hates correction is stupid.(D)

Good people obtain favor from the Lord,(E)
    but he condemns those who devise wicked schemes.(F)

No one can be established through wickedness,
    but the righteous cannot be uprooted.(G)

A wife of noble character(H) is her husband’s crown,
    but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.(I)

The plans of the righteous are just,
    but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.

The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood,
    but the speech of the upright rescues them.(J)

The wicked are overthrown and are no more,(K)
    but the house of the righteous stands firm.(L)

29 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

12 Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
