⁹ Honor the Lord with your wealth,
    with the firstfruits^(A) of all your crops;
¹⁰ then your barns will be filled^(B) to overflowing,
    and your vats will brim over with new wine.^(C)

²⁴ One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
    another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

⁹ The generous will themselves be blessed,^(A)
    for they share their food with the poor.^(B)
