10 (A)A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to [a]rest,”
11 (B)Then your poverty will come in like a [b]drifter,
And your need like [c]an armed man.

12 A (C)worthless person, a wicked man,
Is one who walks with a (D)perverse mouth,
13 Who (E)winks with his eyes, who [d]signals with his feet,
Who [e]points with his fingers;
14 Who, with (F)perversion in his heart, continually (G)devises evil,
Who [f](H)spreads strife.
15 Therefore (I)his disaster will come suddenly;
(J)Instantly he will be broken and there will be (K)no healing.

16 There are six things that the Lord hates,
Seven that are an abomination [g]to Him:
17 (L)Haughty eyes, a (M)lying tongue,
And hands that (N)shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises (O)wicked plans,
(P)Feet that run rapidly to evil,
19 A (Q)false witness who declares lies,
And one who [h](R)spreads strife among brothers.
