⁵ because of your ^[a](A)fellowship in the ^(B)gospel ^(C)from the first day until now.

The Progress of the Gospel

¹² Now I want you to know, brothers, that my circumstances ^(A)have turned out for the greater progress of the ^(B)gospel,

¹⁶ the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the ^(A)gospel;

²⁷ Only ^[a]live your lives in a manner ^(A)worthy of the ^(B)gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about your circumstances, that you are ^(C)standing firm in ^(D)one spirit, with one ^[b]mind ^(E)contending together for the faith of the gospel,

²² But you know ^(A)of his proven worth, that ^(B)he served with me in the furtherance of the gospel ^(C)like a child serving his father.

³ Indeed, I ask you also, genuine companion, help these women who have contended together alongside of me in the gospel, with also Clement and the rest of my ^(A)fellow workers, whose ^(B)names are in the book of life.

¹⁵ And you yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the ^[a](A)first preaching of the gospel, after I left ^(B)Macedonia, no church ^(C)fellowshipped with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone.
