Praise to the Lord and Warning against Unbelief.

95 Come, let’s (A)sing for joy to the Lord,
Let’s shout joyfully to (B)the rock of our salvation.
Let’s (C)come before His presence (D)with a song of thanksgiving,
Let’s shout joyfully to Him (E)in songs with instruments.
For the Lord is a (F)great God
And a great King (G)above all gods,
In whose hand are the (H)depths of the earth,
The peaks of the mountains are also His.
[a]The sea is His, for it was He (I)who made it,
And His hands formed the dry land.

Come, let’s (J)worship and bow down,
Let’s (K)kneel before the Lord our (L)Maker.
For He is our God,
And (M)we are the people of His [b](N)pasture and the sheep of His hand.
(O)Today, [c]if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as at [d](P)Meribah,
As on the day of [e](Q)Massah in the wilderness,
“When your fathers (R)put Me to the test,
They tested Me, though they had seen My work.
10 For (S)forty years I was disgusted with that generation,
And said they are a people who err in their heart,
And they do not know My ways.
11 Therefore I (T)swore in My anger,
They certainly shall not enter My (U)rest.”

A Call to Worship the Lord the Righteous Judge.

96 (V)Sing to the Lord a (W)new song;
Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
Sing to the Lord, bless His name;
(X)Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
Tell of (Y)His glory among the nations,
His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.
For (Z)great is the Lord, and (AA)greatly to be praised;
He is to be (AB)feared (AC)above all gods.
For (AD)all the gods of the peoples are [f]idols,
But (AE)the Lord made the heavens.
(AF)Splendor and majesty are before Him,
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

[g]Ascribe to the Lord, you (AG)families of the peoples,
[h](AH)Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
[i]Ascribe to the Lord the (AI)glory of His name;
Bring an [j](AJ)offering and come into His courtyards.
(AK)Worship the Lord in [k]holy attire;
(AL)Tremble before Him, all the earth.
10 Say among the nations, “(AM)The Lord reigns;
Indeed, the (AN)world is firmly established, it will not be moved;
He will (AO)judge the peoples fairly.”

11 May the (AP)heavens be joyful, and may the (AQ)earth rejoice;
May (AR)the sea [l]roar, and [m]all it contains;
12 May the (AS)field be jubilant, and all that is in it.
Then all the (AT)trees of the forest will sing for joy
13 Before the Lord, (AU)for He is coming,
For He is coming to judge the earth.
(AV)He will judge the world in righteousness,
And the peoples in His faithfulness.
