³⁹ It shall be a tassel for you ^[a]to look at and ^(A)remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not ^[b]follow your own heart and your own eyes, ^[c]which led you to prostitute yourselves,

²⁸ but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman ^(A)with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

¹⁹ whose end is destruction, whose god is their ^[a](A)appetite, and whose ^(B)glory is in their shame, who ^(C)have their minds on earthly things. ²⁰ For ^(D)our ^[b]citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly ^(E)wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;

¹⁶ For all that is in the world, ^(A)the lust of the flesh and ^(B)the lust of the eyes and ^(C)the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
