37 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 38 “Speak to the Israelites,[a] and tell them to make for themselves tassels[b] on the hems of their garments throughout their generations[c] and to put a blue cord on the tassel of the hem. 39 You will have a tassel for you to look at[d] and remember all the commands of Yahweh and do them, and not follow after the unfaithfulness of your own heart and eyes,[e]

37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come(A) you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments,(B) with a blue cord on each tassel. 39 You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember(C) all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves(D) by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts(E) and eyes.
