32 Then they started spreading rumors and saying, “We won't be able to grow anything in that soil. And the people are like giants. 33 (A) In fact, we saw the Nephilim who are the ancestors of the Anakim. They were so big that we felt as small as grasshoppers.”

32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report(A) about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours(B) those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.(C) 33 We saw the Nephilim(D) there (the descendants of Anak(E) come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers(F) in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”
