Numbers 12:13-16

¹³So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, “Please ^(A)heal her, O God, I pray!”

¹⁴Then the Lord said to Moses, “If her father had but ^(B)spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be ^(C)shut^[a] out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.” ¹⁵^(D)So Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again. ¹⁶And afterward the people moved from ^(E)Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.

¹⁴The Lord replied to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face,^(B) would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp^(C) for seven days; after that she can be brought back.” ¹⁵So Miriam was confined outside the camp^(D) for seven days,^(E) and the people did not move on till she was brought back.
